I have an odd thing going on my soulseek
a tab with sunshine called N pops and stucking my soulseek, when i close it it just pops up again. even when i close soulseek and start over again

I am increasingly frustrated by users Banning me.
I had an issue with my uploads being included so I checked what the issue was and resolved it.
Is there a way to resolve the problem of Users Banning each other simply for a mistake.
And Furthermore who made these users Gods?

So is there an option that makes soulseek only search for FLAC files?, i´ve tried using iscbr minbitrate in the filters section but it doesn´t seem to work, since i also don´t know what bitrate flac files are in. Thank you.
Hi, i am a mac user, and there is nothing in "Rooms" section.
I know it exists on Windows version a list of several rooms when we click on 'Rooms'.
How we can do as a mac user?

My download speeds have become really slow over recent weeks yet my internet connection is 75Mbps (tested).
I have upgraded to the most recent version but that has not helped.
I am on Windows 7.
My average download speed is 3kbs - this is downloading from users all listed as having speeds of 100+kbs. I thought the years of it taking 5 hours to download a track were over!!
Is there a general problem or something I'm doing wrong maybe?
Edit...further to this, this morning it is 100 times the speed it was last night, and other nights. I guess maybe it is related to my broadband provider??

So Ill try to explain any questions you guys need me to elaborate on and I looked up any guides but there aren't many and constantly refreshing doesnt seem to help. Ive tried uninstalling the program but it doesnt seem to erase everything as I am logged in once I reinstall. I use IVACY VPN but I wasnt sure if I would need it with this type of program. I just used it to be safe. I've tried shutting it off but it seems like it started after I was using the VPN. Not sure how to diagnose what's going on to tell you further. My stuff either stays queued or aborts immediately.
I hadn't updated Soulseek for a while (previously dated from about 2014 or so), but when I updated it to one of the more recent builds, I've found that my download speeds are very inconsistent. It used to be that speeds would maintain fairly steadily (i.e. if averaging around 50 kbps, it generally wouldn't drop below 40), but since the update it seems like the speed will go all over the place (i.e. it could shoot up to 500 kbps, but drop to 5 just as quickly) and often lead to aborted transfers if I'm not actively watching the downloads. The variation in speed doesn't seem to coincide with my non-slsk activity either as I'll watch the speed move up and down with just slsk open.
just wondering if there's a solution to make it more consistent again.

I've had this problem for years now without any improvement. Soulseek always crashes and freezes constantly. It happens with every version I try (even the latest version, which I have). There is this "place" attribute (last one; after size) which has been empty for all downloads but just recently I added an album to the download list and it didn't download (status - "queued" for all songs) even though the user was online. These files have a value for "place" attribute which is a number. The first file has 139 and last 153, and these keep changing (increase/decrease).
So what is this ? Are these files queued in that user's upload list ?
I ahve not been able to figure out how to message users to figure out how to thank them for files. can someone please help me? Thanks
On my 4k laptop display I barely can use slsk as the text on buttons is scaled wrongly. It's no use to switch to a lower resolution when using slsk. The elements of the application are still scaled wrong.
If the devs need access to my laptop to see it for themselves I can provide that.

I hadn't update my client for two years (been using 2014 client), and today i decided to update it today. I didn't uninstall the old one and just run the installation of 2015 client (by mistake i had downloaded that one) and then that's when the problem started, i uninstalled then again soulseek and I installed 2016 client, yet the problem remains. I tried running it as admin but still. I'm using windows 7 ultimate 64 bit, with i5 and 8g ram
If i search for something it doesn't come up in the search bar, also my wishlist doesn't work (only when it wants too)
If i search for a specific track' artisit it wont show but if i go on to someones shares they have a folder with the ARTIST,and also tracks.
Also i think there needs to be a new law, (can't download without sharing)
this will be good for all kinds of people (people who are looking for things which are no longer available expect from someone who maybe have them just not sharing them.
Anyway i believe that if i search for something it is actually there but the programm has sort of malfunctioned if you will? and wont allow the server to read peoples searches. unless its something stupidly known.
ANyway my search criteria depends only on very hard 2 find stuff (but this stuff occasionally comes on soulseek but unable to find the easy way have to literally scroll through tons of peoples stuff to actually eventaully find something, even then it wont be accurate. im not complaning im just stating an obivious fact
I LOVE SOULSEEK BUT I THINK ITS TIME FOR A CHANGE, NO DOWNLOADS unless sharing atleast 1000, files or even less it doesn't matter just as long as people are sharing
i have a few people in mind whichi would love to have banned becaus they dont share nothing but download and steal peoples ideas and tracks.

hi, my downloads like since 1 month ago are so slow. i never had to setup the port or do anything, it was just working fine but now is so slow. Like 5.9 speed for each track which is an eternity. do i really need to check the ports? or is something wrong with the servers?

I have this rediculous problem:
For fun I changed my soulseek-language to a weird font and after that it was impossible for me to change it back because it's impossible to find out which options to choose because of the weird characters.
I have removed soulseek from my pc and reinstalled it, but it keeps remembering the weird language setting.
Does anyone know what I need to remove from my pc to be able to do a clean install ?
