I can't see what's on my wish list anymore and it's more effort than the previous way when I could just mark which of my wish list I want and which not.
Now I just get the search results and it took me a while to remove something from the list cause it didn't response to me and I didn't know what's on my wish list..

I downloaded Soulseek QT but I keep receiving an error message citing the reason that the "image not found" I also have the update 2013-05-18, but when I click on that, it won;t open and says the image is "not recognized.
I am using OS X 10.6.8
Anybody know what I'm doing wrong?

For the 2nd time I'm encountering a situation where characters in a file name keep me from downloading (the latter). Here are the details for both:
- user cyanosis
- folder 'photek - dj kicks...'
- track 1.03, title 'Hot Toddy ?eat Ron Basejam...'
I assume the character - shown by my client as '?' - is the culprit.
- user Backintosh
- folder contains 'Applied Rhythmic Technology'
- track 09, title contains the string '|sata|' ([vertical bar]"sata"[vertical bar]).

Got an issue with the folder that I'd shared on SlskQT.
System - Mac 10.6.8
After installation I'd shared my music folder with the others(it's on external ntfs drive).
And Now I've an unpleasant surprise.
In Mac it shows that this folder has no items and have 0 kb size.
While all the music is playable in Itunes I simply couldn't reach my entire music collection - couldn't see anything in music folder at all.
And i couldn't transfer anything to this folder also.
This is very annoying.
Please help to solve this issue - I frequently transfer files to portable drives and players. And nothing there is visible or "present" to my Mac.
Help is strongly appreciated here.

I started downloading an album, and it was denied. But now Soulseek seems to be automatically trying to download it again. I don't want to annoy the person. So I want to cancel this download but can't work out how to?

Apologies for the title, but i was drunk the other night using soulseek... not the best idea i know... but bear with me. I inadvertently went to browse a long-time friend's files and (unknown to me at the time) selected "remove user from list". It took a couple of days for me to realise what had happened and why i could not upload files or receive files from this user (ended up checking the diagnostics and noticed the "denied" message), but after quite a lot of technical faffing.
There are two requests...
1) Can the use admin functions be moved to their own section of the context menu.
2) Can some message be given when you try to upload but can't because of permissions?
It seems a bit odd to me that you can't upload to someone if they aren't on your user list for one thing, but there's no message my side just a failure to upload.

I'm thinking about to change to QT, but there is a wall with 2 problems:
- can not make a backup of configuration
- can not make a massive export of configuration NS --> QT.

I just bought a new laptop with windows 8. I can download installer but it will not install. I am not the most computer literate person but I have tried numerous times where on my other laptop there was no problems. please help. I'm a DJ at a club and while I was off, another DJ messed up Soulseek and for the life of me I can't fix it. Can someone help? We were using Soulseek NS on Windows 7 Ultimate. But at this point don't care what version of Soulseek I use.
Problem : No version of Soulseek will stay on screen(Used task manager to see that it is running in the background) on the DJ user. The Club admin user is fine. Must have it on DJ User.
Tried : Restarting, uninstalling and installing Soulseek NS and QT. Tried installing on another user and its fine.
Anyone have any suggestions? Also when installing on DJ User profile it won't create shortcuts or anything. It said successful download and completed but won't show up. Hope that helps.

This has happened in the past. When I start slsk up I see it for a moment then it minimized and I cannot get it to open. I can see it in my taskbar area but I cannot coax it to open up.
Any thoughts?

Hello all! I have kind of bad problem. Well, for me at least. My fiancee acquired a list showing things I supposedly downloaded and she's questioning some of the stuff now. A number of the files she's asking me about I know for a fact I didn't download, but apparently this list (which came from monitoring software) is showing my username and IP address were used. These are somehow showing as received files on my computer. Does anyone have any ideas as to how this could happen? I would really appreciate any help anyone can offer. Thanks a lot!

Is it me or does forwarding ports do absolutely NOTHING?
Today trying to install and configure Soulseek it became apparent its completely impossible to open a port.
I have set up EXACTLY any tutorial, a service named soulseek with the proper port and protocol, nothing.
My LAN setup is like below, and I had port forwarding for both: modem and router,
internet===> [_MODEM_]===> [_WI-FI_ROUTER_]====> [[PC]]
Not sure at all whats going on here, does anyone else have this problem or could shed some light?

Hi! My name is Maureen and I recently moved from one building to another in Chicago. Since then (May 1) I cannot login in to Soulseek. My building pays for my cable and internet (through DirecTV) and I fear that the ISP has been blocked. I don't know if it's that or if I need to change listening ports. I'm not sure what to do. Can somebody help me? I messaged Nir a few times but haven't received a response.
I think I need to set up a "Team Viewer" thing however, I don't know how to set this up. I've used Soulseek for 6 years! I can't let this be the end!

Until recently I had no issues with SQT, but today I'm finding that I'm downloading OK - the files are reaching 100% and complete - but there is no file in the download folder! I've tried uninstalling, deleting folder and reg entries, then reinstalling. No luck!
Any ideas on how to fix this?
(Separate question: Soulseek somehow manages to retain all preferences even with a thorough clean off the registry...how do I do a thorough wipe of the program from the system!)

today I noted that when it's downloaded a folder and on the pc there is another folder with the same name this is overwrite and so it's missed the contents
