Hi...I'm using version 157 NS 13e and just lately it has started to delete the folders i want to share. I have 1 folder still there for my userlist but everytime i add i folder for public it resets and will not keep it? anyone got a fix for this or knows whats going wrong. I'm using windows 7 & running it with winamp & firefox only. any help would be cool. thanks for a great program!

I'm on a Mac and I love SoulseekQT, but one of the things I really miss about the program is the ability to exclude specific sub folders from sharing.
In my case there are at least two uses for this:

1) I make music myself and add my unfinished tracks to my iTunes. This means that anyone can download them, something I don't want. I want to exclude the sharing of this whole folder.
2) Because I'm a DJ and sometimes don't need complete albums, I "slaughter" releases by deleting unwanting tracks from them, and I add "Selected Tracks" to the title. For example: "The Singles Collection 1981-1993 (CD) (Selected Tracks)".
But sometimes I actually keep the whole release in totally different directory (not iTunes) in case people want to copy it from me. So in those cases I wanna exclude the slaughered iTunes folders, and add the complete folders from other places.

Unfortunately upgrading to 10.7 (or above) isn't an option for me.
Can someone give me a link to the last (stable) 10.6.8 compatible dmg?

After installing the latest build for OSX, SoulseekQt-2014-2-15, I can't connect to soulseek server anymore, even if the port check is open.
It happened on both my laptop & my desktop.
In the meantime, where can I find the older builds of soulseek for OSX o regain access please?

Having some strange problems with my Soulseek on Mac. It's been working just fine for months and then today
a question mark appeared over the icon in the dock and it wouldnt open at all.
I then downloaded it again and it just keeps coming up with an error message saying "SoulseekQt cannot be opened because of a problem" I've tried several times to reinstall but i'm not getting anywhere!
Would really appreciate some help, has anybody else had this problem?

I was using soulseek and it stopped. I clicked on the icon and tried numerous times but nothing would happpen. I tried to reinstall and uninstall then reinstall agsin. I get the icon but still won't open. While installing I get error messages about 4 Program Files and have to select Ignore. Please help.

How do I restrict certain people from browsing my folders while still providing full access for them and all downloaders to the contents via search?
Does "access to shared folders" mean access by browsing? Or does it mean access to the files for download by others? This is really ambiguous. I want everyone to be able to download from me, but not necessarily to see the whole list of what I've got.

In SoulseekQt on Windows 7, I want to remove a bunch of users from my User List and Unshared List, but I don't see any easy way to do it. One at a time via context menus does not sound like fun. Is there a registry key or config file I can edit?

Im a donating slsk member, but it feels like i get allot less search results or connections as it should be.
When i click the check ports button, it says that my port is closed.
I asked friends to help me, spent days googling for people with same issues, but without luck.
Is there any1 willing to help ne on this? Maybe with a remote help application or something?

Thanks for the new build. User MELERIX told me that the default server port only changes when SoulseekQt is completely new installed. If so, it can be an idea to add this to the changelog, so users are aware of this.

Hi, I have a Sophos UTM firewall in my network, and tried to make soulseek work but I couldn't. First the network test showed closed ports, so I've created a NAT rule, after that test showed open ports but soulseek still could not connect. In the diagnostic log all I can see is an Attempting to connect on port 80 message and that's all. What could be the problem? Thanks in advance.
